OMSI owns/operates two oil field supply vessels, landing craft, and an oil spill response barge. We also operate the Cook Inlet Spill Prevention and Response, Inc. (CISPRI) vessel.
- M/V Champion and M/V Resolution provide Cook Inlet production platforms transportation of supplies for ongoing operations and assist in backup spill response operations.
- Both vessels are crewed and ice strengthened to maintain a lifeline to the oil platforms in -35F degree temperatures, sheet ice conditions, 30-foot tides, up to 8-knot currents.
- Landing craft Red Dog is a 100 X 40-foot vessel providing heavy equipment and supplies transportation to and from remote locations that do not have dock facilities. Ideal for the west side of Cook Inlet.
- M/V Perseverance is a 206-foot primary primary spill response vessel for Cook Inlet. Duties include standby for all tanker loadings and tow vessel for the oil spill response barges.
- Barge 141 is a 260 x 68-foot, 60,000 barrel petroleum products barge customized for quick response to oil spills. The vessel is fully self-contained and can rapidly deploy containment booms and skimmers to recover and transport product for final disposal.
